Just a quick note summarizing what’s new with Svaha LLC.
New Server
Last spring we acquired a new server at a new datacenter located in Texas and began moving many of our clients over to it. We're still doing this slowly for clients as needed and hope to retire the server currently located in Boston sometime soon. Along with this server change we’ve also completely changed our entire pricing structure and you can read all about what’s new there at our web hosting page.
Website Update
If you're reading this you're ’soaking in it’ right now. We've been meaning to move things to a new website for a long time now but since some changes were required the time finally arrived. It may very well change again soon but the content will remain the same. If you have any suggestions on additions to this website we’d be happy to hear them
Svaha & Antioch College
As many of you may know a number of the owners of Svaha LLC attended Antioch College, in fact this business got its start on the Antioch College campus back in the mid-90’s. Last June Antioch University's Board of Trustees voted to suspend operations at Antioch College as of June 2008. The alumni have since rallied, raised millions and are working hard to form a business plan (and raise more money) to keep the college open since it is the belief of many that if the college does suspend operations, eliminate tenure and unions on campus that the college, even if it reopens, will never be what it was for us. Svaha is hosting the primary website organizing the “Save Antioch” effort at http://antiochians.org/ as well as other Antioch related sites for the Antioch Faculty http://antiochfaculty.org/ and The Record, Antioch’s newspaper at http://recordonline.org/.
